Rachel Duffey, Chief Executive of PayPlan, and Susan Rann, Chief Executive of Paylink Solutions, both part of the Lincolnshire-based Totemic Group, have won three awards at the Women in Credit Awards.
Transformation of the Year was awarded to Rachel for leading change that has significantly bettered how the business previously operated, while Business Leader recognised Rachel’s outstanding, board level leadership – encompassing strategic, process, communication skills that are evidenced by results.
Susan was awarded Innovator of the Year for demonstrating achievements that have brought something new for the financial services sector and beyond.
On winning the two awards, Rachel Duffey said: “It’s such an honour to have won two Women in Credit awards. PayPlan is constantly developing new ways for people to access free debt advice, firmly putting us at the heart of driving change across the industry.”
“With as many as eight million people in the UK thought to be in problem debt, we have focused further on breaking down barriers for people seeking advice. Whether that is through our dedicated Vulnerable Client Team or our Lets #TalkaboutDebt campaign, PayPlan is a very passionate team of people that I’m very proud of.”
Since becoming CEO of Paylink in 2018, Susan has focused on developing market leading software solutions for the financial services sector. With a thirst for innovation and new technology, Paylink is leading the innovation of new affordability tools for the sector.
Upon receiving her award, Susan Rann commented: “The Women in Credit Awards is a great opportunity to take note of the fantastic determination and range of projects that are being showcased right across our sector. It’s fantastic to see that the achievements at Paylink are at the forefront of industry innovations.”
“It’s great to be able to look back at what we have been able to achieve as a business over the past twelve months and to have been nominated for this award. Equally, I’m so excited for the direction that Paylink is continuing in, especially with exciting new opportunities with open banking, credit bureau data and one-touch referral mechanisms.”
Credit Strategy launched the Women in Credit Awards in 2018 to empower, connect, support and uncover achievements among women in the profession.
